Tyl by NatWest and akru Announce Strategic Partnership to Deliver Integrated Payment and POS Solution for UK Hospitality Venues
Tyl by NatWest and akru announce a new strategic partnership, that will offer hospitality venues across the UK a seamlessly integrated Point of Sale (POS) and payments solution.
This collaboration marks an exciting step forward for both companies, with Tyl by NatWest now serving as the preferred payments partner for akru, a cloud-based POS platform powered by Zonal. The partnership brings together Tyl by NatWest’s fast, secure payment processing with akru’s smart and simple POS solution, tailored specifically for independent hospitality venues and small chains, including restaurants, cafés, food outlets, bars, and pubs.
Tyl by NatWest and akru will provide businesses with a unified system for all their POS and payment needs.
The akru POS system will streamline sales transactions, improve inventory management, and provide real-time insights into business performance. It also helps reduce manual errors and enables better customer service.
The integrated set-up means card transactions are fully synced and secure, eliminating the traditional friction points between separate systems.
This partnership enables Tyl by NatWest to further expand its reach in the hospitality sector, while akru gains a powerful payments partner to complement its rapidly growing POS solution. Through this partnership, both organisations will equip UK hospitality businesses with technology that is both intuitive to use yet rich in functionality, to support the diverse needs of merchants across the country.
James Hodgson, CEO at Tyl by NatWest, said: “We’re thrilled to become the preferred payments partner for akru and to bring together our technology in one holistic solution for hospitality venues. This partnership directly supports our commitment to provide small businesses with reliable, easy-to-use payment tools that empower them to offer an outstanding customer experience.”
Steve Roberts, Managing Director at akru, added:“Partnering with Tyl by NatWest is an exciting development for akru and our customers. By integrating secure, efficient payments into our cloud POS, we’re able to offer hospitality businesses across the UK an end-to-end solution that’s simple to use, but powerful enough to support their growth and ambition.”
