Trust Payments Powering Romanian Payments for Viva Games
Viva Games, a leading iGaming company , has chosen Trust Payments to handle gaming payments in Romania.
The move comes after Trust Payments (Malta) Ltd, a leading fintech company providing innovative payment solutions, expanded its EU reach by obtaining a Class 2 Payment Processing license from the Romanian Gambling Authority (ONJN), effective from January 2024.
This license allows Trust Malta to offer acquiring services to iGaming operators licensed in Romania. Through the Class 2 license, Trust Payments is advancing its commitment to growth by meeting regulatory requirements in new markets.
Viva Games offers thousands of games on its platform in Romania from 26 top international providers such as Amusnet, EGTD, Pragmatic Play, etc.
With Trust Payments, Viva Games gains from multiple benefits including high conversion rates on transactions, Apple Pay acceptance, support for payout capabilities for wallet payments and fast onboarding for its multiple brands. Google Pay acceptance will also be enabled soon.
As of the end of August 2025, Trust Payments has seen an approval rate on transactions of just below 93%, catching incidents of insufficient customer funds in the bulk of cases. A plan is in motion to enable partial deposits, in a bid to increase the approval rate upwards to 98%.
Yeseniia Marchenko, Director of EU Sales at Trust Payments, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Viva Games to ensure that iGaming transactions in Romania run seamlessly. It’s been very encouraging to see them utilising our iGaming capabilities to the fullest and we’re excited to help them with their growth ambitions in the future.”
