Kontigo Chooses Flagright for Transaction Monitoring and AML Compliance

Flagright, the AI-native, no-code platform for transaction monitoring and AML compliance, is delighted to welcome Kontigo as its newest client. As fellow Y Combinator alumni, the two companies will partner to build a best-in-class compliance framework. Kontigo will deploy Flagright’s transaction monitoring, AML screening, case management, risk scoring, and AI forensics solutions.

Kontigo is a USDC-smart neobank for Latinos. Through its mobile app, users hold digital dollars, send no-fee remittances in USDC, pay with QR codes, and earn up to eight percent annually on savings plans called “Kochinitos.” The platform combines personal and business accounts, 24/7 support, and a smart WhatsApp adviser to make saving and spending in dollars simple and secure.

“At Kontigo, we help Latinos protect their money from inflation and move dollars instantly. Flagright’s real-time monitoring and screening provide the control we need to keep our community safe while we scale.” Massimo Di Berardino, Chief Technology Officer of Kontigo.

Flagright’s transaction monitoring detects risks before they become threats. Kontigo will be able to monitor every wallet top-up, payment, and USDC transfer, configure rules in minutes, and detect suspicious activity through a no-code, customizable monitoring system. Automated risk scoring highlights high-risk events, while integrated case management and AI forensics let Kontigo’s compliance team investigate alerts quickly and maintain an auditable record of every decision.

“We’re proud to welcome our YC peers at Kontigo as our latest client. By combining Kontigo’s innovative USDC-based banking experience with Flagright’s AI-native compliance stack, we will deliver a secure, friction-free way for users to save, send, and spend dollars.” — Madhu Nadig, Co-Founder and CTO of Flagright.
