Ebury Becomes Official Supplier of Olympique de Marseille, Whilst Expanding Its Presence into the South of France

Ebury, the global fintech specialising in cross-border payments, FX, and business lending, has become an official Olympique de Marseille’s supplier reflecting the club’s status as an internationally competitive team:

“We’re pleased to welcome Ebury, an established yet continuously growing global company with experience across all of Europe’s top leagues. This partnership will contribute to our business, and at the same time, we can offer Ebury a strong network among partners and companies across France.” says Grégory La Mela Commercial Director at Olympique de Marseille.

The 25/26 season partnership will see Ebury become a visible presence at Orange Vélodrome and across the Club’s channels. Through its innovative global digital platform, Ebury will support the Club’s financial operations and optimise currency transactions across borders.

Beyond the pitch, Ebury’s expansion into Marseille leverages the city’s position as the dominant economic and business capital for the entire southern region. This strategic location facilitates trade and business with the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Africa, allowing Ebury to support a diverse range of local businesses operating across these key international corridors.

Ebury’s partnership with Olympique de Marseille builds on its strong track record in professional sport, working with top-tier clubs including Fulham FC, Aston Villa, PSV Eindhoven and Rangers FC to deliver tailored financial solutions that streamline global operations and manage currency risk.

The London-headquartered fintech has more than 1,800 employees worldwide across 29 different markets, and has recently opened new offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and now Marseille, underscoring its strategic commitment to the European region.

“Partnering with Olympique de Marseille, a club with an unrivaled heritage in French football, is a hugely exciting moment for Ebury says Peter Brooks, Global Head of Sport at Ebury. “As we expand our footprint in Southern France with the opening of our new Marseille office, we’re proud to support the Club’s storied legacy and help power their success both on and off the field.”
