Bolt Optimises Payments With Silverflow’s Innovative Processing

Silverflow, a leading innovator in payment processing technology, has partnered with shared mobility platform Bolt to optimise payment operations through the implementation of Silverflow’s next-generation platform and enhanced data transparency capabilities.

As Bolt expands its services — from ride-hailing and food delivery to e-scooter and car rentals — the complexity of its payment operations has grown significantly. Managing these diverse transactions often involves multiple partners and fragmented systems. By implementing Silverflow’s global platform, Bolt can streamline its payment flows and unify internal processes, ultimately delivering a smoother, more consistent experience for its customers.

Silverflow’s technology enables Bolt to route Visa and Mastercard transactions directly to the card schemes, establishing a high-performance alternative to existing solutions. This partnership brings payments closer to Bolt’s own infrastructure, enhancing control, increasing resilience, and improving overall system performance.

Silverflow is setting a new standard for payments with modern technologies fit for 21st-century businesses, making it unique among payments companies. Offering a direct connection to the card networks via an API, Silverflow’s clients receive automatic updates and core features like 3D Secure, network tokenization, direct-to-card payouts, and access to payments data that traditional payments technology providers and legacy systems will not provide.

Anne Willem de Vries, Co-founder and CEO at Silverflow, said: “Bolt is one of the most innovative and fast-growing tech companies in Europe and it’s thrilling to be part of that journey. Our platform, along with our data transparency capabilities, has optimized and simplified Bolt’s payments process, allowing the company to direct these resources at driving the business forward. We cannot wait to see where this partnership goes in the future as both our companies continue to expand at pace.”

Jüri Laur, Director of Product leading Payments, Billing and Fraud at Bolt, commented: “The implementation of Silverflow’s platform has been efficient and straightforward, and it’s performing reliably. Our goal is to manage key data elements internally to better understand and influence payment flows, rather than depending on third parties. Silverflow’s single global platform supports this by providing a consistent technical foundation across markets, making it a valuable component in our global expansion efforts. We look forward to the continued development of this partnership.”
