92% of SaaS Platforms To Have Embedded Finance Live by End of 2025, New Weavr Research Shows

Research from Weavr.io has found that 92% of SaaS platforms expect to have embedded payments live by the end of 2025.

The research, which surveyed SaaS product leaders across more than 150 UK SaaS businesses, reveals that there is an ever-increasing appetite for embedded finance, with the number of SaaS platforms expecting live implementations this year rising from 74% in 2024 to 92% this year.

The survey demonstrates that embedded finance has moved firmly into an era of execution, marking a decisive shift from early exploration to widespread adoption. The study also shows that while product leaders continue to face questions around monetisation and execution, the direction of travel is clear: embedded finance is fast becoming a defining capability for SaaS platforms, not a bolt-on.

Additional key findings include:

• 85% believe embedded finance can be monetised, though many lack clarity on the best models.

• 51% say reducing churn is their top priority, with 43% attributing it to fragmented workflows.

• 51% are investing in AI, with embedded finance seen as the execution layer that makes AI-driven insights actionable and compliant.
