Paysend Launches Instant Global Transfers
Paysend today announced the launch of its new instant global transfer service, designed to be the fastest and simplest way to send and receive money across borders.
At the heart of this new service is real-time global peer-to-peer (P2P) payments, enabling money to move instantly between two people anywhere in the world — all they need is a smartphone.
Sending money takes just three steps:
1. Get the Paysend app – or just use the website https://paysend.com
2. Enter your friend or family member’s phone number. That’s it!
3. Choose your amount and how you want to pay, then tap send
Recipients benefit immediately with:
• Instant notification – no need to register in advance, an SMS confirms the transfer
• Immediate access – money arrives instantly in local currency
• Flexible spending – withdraw to card, bank account or wallet, or spend directly using an instant virtual Mastercard (Apple Pay/Google Pay compatible)
For its first launch, Paysend chose Kyrgyzstan, where remittances account for around 30% of annual GDP, making it one of the world’s most remittance-driven economies. This rollout brings faster, more transparent and more flexible transfers to thousands of families who rely on cross-border payments.
“Kyrgyzstan may not be the most obvious market to choose as our first, but it’s a country that loves Paysend, embraces innovation, and has always been a strong testing ground for new ideas. Our mission is to simplify cross-border payments for everyone, leveraging the global payment network we’ve built. We’re excited to give customers in Kyrgyzstan complete control over their inbound remittances,” said Ben Chisell, CEO at Paysend.
Built on Paysend’s next-generation tech stack, the new receiving experience ensures speed, reliability, and scalability for future innovation, including AI-driven payment capabilities.
Following Kyrgyzstan, Paysend is launching in Mexico and Colombia, and will continue to roll-out across LAC to bring its instant transfers to more recipients in more countries.
