Patisserie Valerie launches loyalty programme to deliver more rewarding in-store experiences to customers
Patisserie Holdings PLC has partnered with Yoyo, Europe’s fastest-growing mobile payments and loyalty marketing platform, to introduce a combined mobile payments and loyalty app experience to Patisserie Valerie customers.
The fully-branded Patisserie Valerie app, built and powered by Yoyo, will be rolled out across all 155 Patisserie Valerie stores in the UK and Ireland, providing customers with:
● Secure, straight-through mobile payment
● Automated loyalty accumulation
● Instant rewards redemption and voucher sharing
● Digital receipt collection
● All of this delivered in a single moment at the point-of-sale
Through Yoyo’s unique Commerce API, for the first time Patisserie Valerie will also capture fully anonymised customer basket data at the point-of-sale, enabling the café chain to analyse and segment purchasing behaviour to deliver the most personalised rewards, offers and in-store experiences.
Patisserie Valerie was first launched in London’s Soho in 1926 by Belgian-born Madame Valerie, and specialises in handmade cakes, continental breakfasts, lunches, teas and coffees.
“Patisserie Valerie is thrilled to announce our partnership with Yoyo, which is the first in a range of initiatives we will be launching over the next few months to enhance our in-store customer experience. The Yoyo platform offers the perfect blend of speed, convenience and rewards – a thank you to our loyal customers,” said Steve Francis, CEO of Patisserie Holdings PLC.
Yoyo CEO Michael Rolph said: “High street retailers are aware, now more than ever, that they need to innovate and deliver truly exceptional customer experiences if they are to prosper.
“Patisserie Valerie has been present on our high streets for more than 90 years, and it’s fantastic that such a long-established eatery is joining Yoyo’s charge to transform how we shop in-store and deliver the most personalised and rewarding experiences to loyal and valued customers.”
The Yoyo-powered Patisserie Valerie app will be available for UK customers to download in February 2019.
