Nstart Expands Its Customer Offering by Launching Saving Accounts on Vilja Platform

Swedish fintech company Nstart deepens its long-standing collaboration with Vilja. From April 3, Nstart offers saving accounts with a government deposit guarantee, as part of its proposal to help consumers to reach financial well-being.

Using new technology and in-depth data analytics, Nstart helps indebted consumers to start a path to sustainable finances. In the past years, Nstart has helped thousands of customers to lower their ongoing lending costs.

Nstart was recently granted a credit institution license (“Kreditmarknadsbolag”) by Sweden’s Financial Supervisory Authority and the company’s lending services are now supplemented with free-to-start savings accounts covered by the Swedish government deposit guarantee.

The savings services are fully digital with a high focus on self-service and automation to deliver a superior customer experience, using Vilja Deposit for the back-end and Vilja MyPages for the front end.

“Nstart is a market leader in sustainable financial services for consumers. By proudly launching a free-to-start fixed-term savings account with better returns on your savings, we take yet another step on our journey to improve consumers’ financial inclusion and health. The tech platform provided by Vilja is a smooth and well-proven go-to-market solution, enabling this step”, says Daniel Ahrenby, Nstart’s Chief Executive Officer.

“We are thrilled to see the continued trust at Nstart, now running both their loans and deposits offerings on Vilja platform. Nstart is an important customer of ours, and we look forward to deepening our partnership and following them on their important journey as a leader in its niche of sustainable financial services”, says Fredrik Ulvenholm, CEO at Vilja.

Vilja Deposit is the leading solution for saving accounts in Sweden and offers a complete end-to-end customer journey designed for self-service and automation. The API-first strategy allows for flexible integrations and creates customer value by offering unique digital customer journeys based on insightful algorithms.
