New P2P Platform DoFinance Joins Peer-to-Peer Lending Community

The triumph of alternative finance in the Baltics continues – Latvia-based Alfa Finance Group has invested €2 million in launching the new peer-to- peer lending platform DoFinance. Available in all EU and EEA countries, DoFinance is a P2P platform for private individuals to invest in consumer loans without any intermediaries with access to your money at any time.

With the total investment volume reaching €2 million, DoFinance is part of the Alfa Finance Group – an online lending and investment management company operating in Europe, Transcaucasia and Asia. Since its launch in 2015, the Alfa Finance Group has attracted more than 150,000 registered clients and over €16 million in loans issued as financing loans. Loans available for investment on DoFinance are originated by the Alfa Finance group. Launching a P2P platform is just one of the steps toward expanding the list of financial services provided by the Alfa Finance Group.

The founders of the company – brothers Viesturs and Janis Kulikovskis, experts in finance, investment and international business, and Ingars Zagorskis, an expert in marketing and product development strategy, have pooled their knowledge and experience to create a more secure and user-friendly platform for investors without a professional background in financial and investment management.

With users as our core value, our task is to create the most user-friendly and accessible P2P lending marketplace possible, so that anyone can participate in seemingly complex processes and become his or her own financial director. 95% of our clients would recommend Alfa Finance services to their friends and relatives, which makes me think we are on the right path,” explains Janis Kulikovskis, idea generator and co-founder of DoFinance.

Risk assessment and management expert and co-founder of DoFinance Viesturs Kulikovskis explains, “Focusing on investor needs, our priority is investment safety. When assessing potential borrowers, with the help of the latest technologies and innovative risk management, we look way beyond the traditional data. We are very proud of our risk assessment tools, which allow us to evaluate the behavior of each potential borrower, hence minimizing the risk of failure to repay the loan. Meanwhile, what our users see is a transparent and user-friendly marketplace.”

Thanks to other powerful players in the industry at home, we are also more competitive globally – the fierce competition motivates us to work faster and more effectively. By launching DoFinance, we have already brought valuable innovations to the marketplace. For instance, unlike other peer-to- peer lending platforms, DoFinance offers access to your money at any time. If you decide to withdraw the invested money before the due date, you can receive your money starting from 14 to 28 days after your request with accumulated interest, depending on your chosen investment plan,” says Ingars Zagorskis, elaborating on the positive impact of competition.
