Money20/20, Europe’s leading fintech show where communities come together to do business and shape the future of the industry, concluded with more than 6,500 attendees, from 90+ countries and over 350 speakers in attendance. Six stages focused on discussing the industry’s most pressing challenges and opportunities, featuring the biggest names in financial services alongside the industry’s most innovative and fastest-growing fintech start-ups.

Highlights included the Co-Founder and President of Stripe, John Collison, taking to the stage to talk experiences and valuations, Tink’s Kjellén announcing two new partnerships with Revolut and Dutch payments provider Adyen during their first joint session with Visa since the acquisition, Blockchain.com’s CEO Peter Smith discussing how the crypto winter that started 9-months ago, a deep dive into the UK’s first retail-led digital sterling pilot project and OnlyFans sharing how it “broke the internet” with a u-turn on content creation.

Money20/20 Europe is the show where the rock stars of fintech come together to do business and develop new strategies and partnerships that will power the global economy through challenging times. With over 14,500 meetings taking place during the three-day event, an increase of 107% compared to 2021, doing business took a central role, as the industry looks for ways to innovate and drive growth. While business was the clear focus, the renowned networking parties were back in full swing with the dedicated Money20/20 festival – Money in the Park, in the Het Amsterdamse Bos National Forrest and the legendary street party – Money Street Fest on Reguliersdwarsstraat.

“Money20/20 Europe was a fantastic three-day show packed with inspirational industry experts and fintech insights. There were never-ending wow moments, including incredible stories and solutions emerging across the money ecosystem that will deliver value right across the financial services sector. It made me proud to be part of such a resilient and innovative industry.” said Tracey Davies, President of Money20/20. “The feedback has been amazing, and I would like to thank everyone who joined us and contributed to making the show a success. This level of attendance and engagement from the industry once again demonstrates that Money20/20 is the premier show for the fintech industry and we look forward to being back in Europe next year, 6-8 June 2023 at RAI Amsterdam.”

Money20/20 has also long advocated that women should have a louder voice in financial services and since the inception of RiseUp in 2018, more than 250 women have participated in the programme. In support of this, 43% of the speakers at Money20/20 Europe this year were female subject matter experts, an increase from 38% in 2021.

Among the speakers taking to the stage were:
