Mobeewave announces international partnership agreement with Samsung

Mobeewave today announced the signing of an international partnership agreement with Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. which will enable Mobeewave to offer its patented contactless payment acceptance solution on Samsung devices. This technology will accept payments from a contactless card or an electronic wallet by simply using a phone – turning the phone into a real payment terminal. With this agreement effective January 1, the Mobeewave solution becomes available for commercial use on all Samsung flagship devices in targeted markets around the world.

The Mobeewave solution allows you to accept payments made from a contactless card or an electronic wallet, without requiring any other external device. Designed with priority as the overarching goal, this patented technology encrypts personal data and ensures that no sensitive data is stored on the phone. It will be available for commercial use on the Samsung Galaxy S7, Edge S7, S8, S8 + and Note 8.

Mobeewave offers customizable technology that integrates with financial institution applications and payment networks. This allows them to offer their customers a brand-name alternative that is cheap and convenient to traditional POS and mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) offerings.

At Samsung, our priorities are to deliver real value to the customer and drive the digital switchover,” said Sean Kae, Executive Vice President of Global B2B Service Group, Mobile Communications at Samsung Electronics. “Through our partnership with Mobeewave, we look forward to providing a more simple and convenient mobile POS experience. ”

We are delighted to team up with a true innovator like Samsung,” said Maxime de Nanclas, COO and co-founder of Mobeewave. “By providing our patented payment acceptance solution on Samsung’s flagship phones, we will enable merchants worldwide to enter the digital economy.
