Mash and Nets Partner to Deliver Pay Later Solution across the Nordics

Mash and Nets announced a new partnership today to provide an omni-channel “pay later” solution to Merchants across the Nordics. The transformational service will offer consumers an easy option to pay later for purchases while enabling Merchants to increase their average basket size, growing their business.

This innovative payment solution allows consumers to forego payment at the time of purchase by simply selecting the Mash option from a Nets enabled terminal for instant on-boarding and credit approval. Within 14 days, the consumers will receive an invoice to pay the balance in full or choose to convert the payment into an easy to understand monthly instalment plan.

“We are truly excited to partner with Nets. The Nordics are clearly recognized as embracing a cashless society and advancing alternative payment methods. Our collaboration with Nets exemplifies this spirit and enables us to deliver a truly differentiated offering to both Merchants and Consumers,” said James Hickson, Group CEO of Mash. He added, “When developing our solution we wanted to deliver truly fair payments to Merchants and Consumers. Our solution is without charge for both Merchants and Consumers. Merchants report higher basket sizes and Consumers are loving our service in a recent survey. We are now delighted to extend our service to Nets Merchants.”

“For both Merchants and Consumers, our partnership with Mash underscores our ability to offer the largest selection of payments in the Nordics through Nets services – a fully integrated product that enables merchants to start, run and grow their business well beyond accepting payments,” said Asger Hattel, Group Executive Vice President, Nets Merchant Services. This cooperation is a concrete example of our vision to enable an easier tomorrow, powered by Nets. Mash solution will be first available in Finland and Sweden followed by Norway and Denmark rollout.”
