Legal & General Retirement America Awarded Great Place to Work® Certification

Legal & General Retirement America (LGRA), a leading provider of pension risk solutions in US, announced its designation as a 2022 Great Place to Work®. The Great Place to Work Certification™ is based on survey feedback provided by LGRA employees and evaluates more than 60 elements of overall job experience.

“Creating an environment that supports and empowers our employees is our top priority, so we are excited to be recognized by Great Place to Work®,” said George Palms, LGRA President. “Our employees are at the center of everything we do at LGRA, and we are grateful for all they have done – and continue to do – to earn this recognition.”

More than 87% of LGRA employees completed the program’s patented Trust Index Survey, which covers a variety of workplace quality experiences. Highlights from the survey include:

  • 93% percent believe management promotes inclusive behavior
  • 95% percent feel good about how LGRA contributes to the community
  • 97% percent said LGRA is a physically safe place to work

“At LGRA, we are dedicated to creating a culture that is respectful, inclusive, equitable and appreciates the value of each employee,” said Sandy Simpson, LGRA vice president and head of Human Resources. “The Great Place to Work Certification™ highlights our continued commitment to enhancing the employee experience.”

While 2022 was the first time LGRA has applied for this certification, the company has put great emphasis on employee culture since its 2015 founding, including establishing an employee-led DE&I committee, multi-year charitable giving programs and well-being initiatives.
