Just 9 months after launch, ThingCo is named as an InsurTech 100 company

ThingCo, the new insurtech founded by telematics pioneer Mike Brockman to bring to market the next generation of telematics technology, has been named as one of 20 UK companies in this year’s InsurTech 100.

The InsurTech 100 is produced each year to identify the 100 innovative companies that every leader in the insurance industry needs to know about. This year’s standout businesses were chosen by a panel of industry experts who reviewed an analysis of 637 InsurTech companies undertaken by FinTech Global, a data and research firm. Companies that made the final cut were recognised for their innovative use of technology to solve a significant industry problem, or to generate cost savings or efficiency improvements across the insurance value chain.

ThingCo is gearing up to launch their ground-breaking B2C proposition with the aim of becoming the Consumer Champion for keeping drivers safe on the road, providing help when they have an accident, giving them access and control of their driving data and to facilitate the use of that data for many rewards and benefits.

Mike Brockman, ThingCo CEO said, “To be listed as an InsurTech 100 company so early on in the ThingCo journey is fantastic. We hit the ground running when we started in January and plan to launch our game-changing product by the end of the year. Clearly the potential that ThingCo services offer to radically change road safety records and reduce insurance losses was evident to the judges and we are delighted to be signposted as a serious contender in the insurtech space.”
