J.D. Power Names M&T Bank “Highest in Small Business Banking Satisfaction in the Northeast Region”
Corporation ranks highest in small business banking customer satisfaction in the Northeast region, according to the J.D. Power 2017 U.S. Small Business Banking Satisfaction Study released today.
The study, which was conducted between June and August 2017, includes responses from 8,378 small business owners or financial decision-makers who use business banking services. M&T ranked first in the Northeast region with a score of 815 out of a possible 1,000 points, exceeding the Northeast region average by 33 points.
“In the communities we serve at M&T Bank, small businesses are the drivers of economic growth and new job creation. We work hard at M&T to understand what’s important to small business owners, so that we’re able to help them succeed and to help our communities grow,” said Neil Hosty, M&T’s executive vice president, retail and business banking.
M&T Bank is a leading provider of new loans guaranteed by the U.S. Small Business Administration and ranked 8th nationally in completed 2017 federal fiscal year 7(a) loans, which is the SBA’s most widely used loan program.
