Ipes makes senior appointments in Guernsey and London

Ipes has announced the appointment of Sumindra Bains-Cleary and David Bateman.

Sumindra Bains-Cleary joins Ipes as Head of Commercial Finance based in London while David Bateman joins Ipes as a Manager in Guernsey.

Sumindra is an experienced Finance Manager whose most recent role was for Xchanging PLC, where she spent five years, latterly as Corporate Development and Corporate Strategy Manager.  Prior to that, she spent five years in KPMG’s Corporate Finance department, specialising in cross-border acquisitions and disposals.

Reporting to the CFO, Sumindra will be responsible for providing management information and business intelligence across the Ipes Group.

David Bateman joins Ipes Guernsey as a Manager.  He is a Chartered Accountant and an experienced Fund Administration professional. David’s most recent role was as Head of Operations in Singapore and the British Virgin Islands for Conifer Financial Services. In prior roles David has led teams in Ireland and the Cayman Islands whilst working at UBS.

David will be responsible for managing an administration team responsible for a number of Private Equity funds.
