Superscript teams up with Checkatrade to provide custom-built insurance for tradespeople
Checkatrade, the UK’s largest trade directory, has appointed Superscript, the small business and startup insurance distributor, to provide insurance to Checkatrade members.
As part of the commitment to meet The Checkatrade Standard and vetting checks, the 47,000 members are required to be insured. Superscript will provide the service through a heightened co-branded digital journey, with its proprietary technology serving members with tailored insurance from its full range of covers in five minutes or less*.
Checkatrade members will also have access to human support if they need it, through a five-star team of customer support specialists** – over the phone or via an online chat function. The cover is flexible, and can be amended at any time with no extra cost. The dedicated online customer portal will provide instant access to documents and proof of cover, as well as access to an in-house claims team.
Covers available to Checkatrade members include, but are not limited to:
- Public Liability
- Employers’ Liability
- Personal Accident
- Tools and Equipment
- Contract Works
- Professional Indemnity
