Our Chief Commercial Officer, Christopher Barclay, will take up the position of Interim CEO in early May.

Superscript secured long-term strategic partnerships, launched market-first products, and achieved key accreditations, including becoming a Lloyd’s of London broker and earning B Corp certification.

With the business built on a strong foundation, a clear strategic vision and continued growth, Superscript remain focused on scaling their impact across the UK and Europe.

I know the company is in great hands, and I have no doubt that the team will take it to even greater heights in the years to come.

ith a strong track record in commercial strategy, underwriting partnerships, and digital transformation Chris brings extensive experience across UK and international insurance markets. Chris’ previous experience includes holding the role of Managing Director of Affinity and Partnerships at Marsh.

Since Chris joined Superscript 18 months ago as Chief Commercial Officer, the business has grown considerably.

We achieved 50% year-on-year expansion and surpassed our GWP target by 140%, while also being recognised for our leadership in schemes, winning Gold for Schemes Broker of the Year at the 2024 Insurance Times Awards.
