Newfront, the tech-driven insurance brokerage firm based in San Francisco, welcomes Cole Wagner as U.S. Growth Leader and Executive Vice President. Wagner joins from Marsh and brings more than 20 years of experience building high-performing teams and developing successful marketplace strategies.

“As Newfront continues its incredible trajectory, having a top caliber leader like Cole strongly positions us for even further success,” said Newfront President Brian Hetherington. “His unmatched expertise and leadership will continue to fuel our client advocacy across the United States.”

Most recently at Marsh, Wagner was the Central Zone Growth Leader, overseeing 18 offices throughout the Central U.S., which was the No. 1 sales zone in 2022. Wagner was responsible for the delivery of all company resources, supervising client teams, and implementing strategies within the market. As a producer, Wagner was consistently in the top 1% at Marsh. During his 20 years at the company, Wagner held various roles including client executive, placement specialist for middle-market companies, and client advisor within the global risk management practice.

“With its revolutionary technology and outstanding insurance professionals, Newfront and its elite team are the talk of the industry,” said Wagner, who is based in Chicago and will oversee growth across the country. “I am excited to build upon Newfront’s success and bring the modernized experience to even more clients, colleagues, and trading partners.”
