Insly Achieves ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27017 Certification

Insly, the low-code software provider to the insurance industry, has been awarded both ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27017 certifications, demonstrating the company’s commitment to security across its operations.

ISO/IEC 27001 is the world’s best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS), demonstrating Insly has a system to manage data security risks, respecting all required best practices and principles. Having previously achieved the standard in 2020 and 2023, this year, Insly was required to align with the updated 2022 framework.

This year, Insly also achieved ISO/IEC 27017 for the first time, demonstrating the strength of its security, specifically in the provision and use of cloud services.

To coincide with these audits, Insly also adapted its internal documentation to align with DORA (the Digital Operational Resilience Act), the EU regulation that came into force in January. This involved creating over 600 pages of new policies, procedures, process descriptions, and templates.

“Bulletproof security is critical to gaining the trust of our insurance customers, and we aim to be the best in the business at keeping data and systems safe,” says Risto Rossar, Founder and CEO of Insly. “These certifications reinforce our commitment to staying at the forefront of security technologies and processes, while reassuring clients that they’re protected.”
