Cover Genius Partners with BetterPlace to Provide Protection To Two Million Gig and Blue-Collar Workers

Cover Genius, the insurtech for embedded protection and BetterPlace, India’s largest tech platform for blue-collar workforce management announced their partnership today to bring healthcare coverage to India’s gig and blue-collar workforce. By integrating with XCover, Cover Genius’ award-winning global distribution platform, over 1,000 companies who use BetterPlace services each day can seamlessly offer healthcare to their combined 2 million blue-collar and gig economy workers.

India’s gig economy sector is projected to have 300 million jobs by 2025, yet over 80% of Indians do not have health coverage, according to the 75th National Sample Survey.
