Battleface Makes Debut Into Canada Through Partnership With Hunter McCorquodale

Travel insurance provider battleface announced its debut into Canada today with an all-new travel insurance product as part of a new partnership with Hunter McCorquodale. The expansion into the Canadian market offers comprehensive, affordable travel insurance for single-trip travellers both domestically and internationally.

Standard cover includes protection against Medical and Emergency Expenses up to CAD 5,000,000, Trip Cancellation up to CAD 20,000 per person and Personal Liability up to CAD 500,000. battleface also plans to custom-build programs for B2B2C and B2C travel distribution partners and design group travel policies for corporate, education and non-profit industry sectors. 

The partnership will enable battleface to tap into Hunter McCorquodale’s vast network of brokers in Canada when designing products for B2B2C and B2B markets, bringing a range of modular benefits and services that are best suited for customizing products to fit Canadian travellers’ needs.

Product features include coverage to destinations classified by Government of Canada Travel Advisories as “Avoid non-essential travel” and “Avoid all travel” as standard with pricing based on age, destination, and duration of trip. Maximum trip length is 365 days, and policies can be purchased while already travelling. For returning Canadian expats and digital nomads, travellers can purchase battleface’s products that are offered in over 185 countries worldwide, while waiting for reinstatement of GHIP (Government Health Insurance Plan) coverage.
