Stonebridge Appoints Steve Swyny as New National Recruitment Manager

Stonebridge has named Steve Swyny as its new National Recruitment Manager. Steve Swyny was hired by Stonebridge with the intention of growing its network of Appointed Representative (AR) firms and speeding up the expansion of its UK mortgage network.

Swyny will report into Recruitment & Growth Director Lesley Sharkey and will support the drive to further grow the network’s already strong flow of new Appointed Representative (AR) firms. 

The Essex-based business now employs more than 180 colleagues to support its broker firms across the UK. 

Stonebridge has seen consistent growth in new member firms since 2018, thanks to its reputation for excellent broker support, ongoing investment in its own infrastructure to support its members, and wholly owned market-leading technology. Swyny’s appointment signals the network’s ongoing commitment to accelerating that expansion by hiring top industry talent. 

Swyny, who has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services, joins from Just Mortgages where he was Area Director.
