Global Principles for Sustainable Securities Lending is thrilled to welcome Balaguru Sakthivel as a Fintech Advisor to its College of Advisors, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, transparency, and governance in sustainable finance.

Balaguru is a seasoned Fintech professional with almost a decade of experience spanning product, partnerships, and strategy—closely working with CXOs of India’s top Fintechs. At Google Pay, he leads Product Operations for Financial Services, improving user experience and scaling credit for the India market. 

In his new advisory role, Balaguru will contribute to the development and validation of the ABC Score™ — Global PSSL’s governance-based tool designed to support transparency and accountability across sustainable finance — including new metrics on post-issuance green bond lending introduced last week [available here]. This will help support the fintech components of the Global PSSL United Nations Pathways Programme.

This Global PSSL fintech advisor appointment adds more fintech knowledge to the ABC Score framework, which is being updated to improve governance across the industry.
