Chetwood Bank Appoints Rajan Kapoor As Non-Executive Director and Chair of Audit Committee
Chetwood Bank has announced Rajan Kapoor has joined its Board as non–executive director (NED) and chair of its audit committee.
A chartered accountant, Rajan will replace the current chair of the audit committee Emer Daly in the role from 1 November 2025. He will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s internal and external audit, all aspects of financial and regulatory reporting, as well as internal financial controls. He will also act as the company’s whistleblowing champion.
Rajan brings 40 years of experience of banking and financial services, including a long and successful career with Natwest Group where he served as group financial controller, as well as holding a number of other senior finance roles.
Upon retiring in 2016, Rajan joined Charter Court Financial Services (CCFS) as a NED and chair of its audit committee, a role he continued to hold at OSB Group after it merged with CCFS in 2019, before stepping down in May 2025 having completed nine years.
Rajan is a NED and chair of the audit committee at Revolut UK and also served as chair of the audit committee at Allica Bank until June 2025.
Rajan said: “I’m excited to be joining Chetwood Bank at such an interesting point in its development.
“I’m looking forward to making a positive contribution, using the experience I’ve gained to help drive the business forward in the next stage of its growth journey.”
Paul Noble, CEO of Chetwood Bank, added: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome someone with such extensive experience in chairing audit committees.
“Rajan’s deep expertise and understanding of regulatory compliance, risk management and financial oversight will be invaluable as we continue to uphold the highest standards of governance.
“I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Emer Daly for her outstanding contribution and dedication. Over the course of her three terms as chair of our audit committee, Emer has brought immense value and unwavering support. With her tenure coming to an end, we remain deeply grateful for the pivotal role she’s played in our growth and success.”
