Xiaochen Zhang, new Ambassador of Finnovating in the USA
Finnovating, the first global AI-based deal-matching platform that enables corporates and investors to connect, close deals and collaborate with over 100,000 startups and scaleups (Fintech, Insurtech, Proptech, Healthtech…) has announced the appointment of Xiaochen Zhang as new Amabassador in the USA, a country that currently has 12.250 active Fintechs.
As a senior executive, he will be responsible for driving the company’s growth in this strategic market and contributing to Finnovating’s consolidation in the USA. He will foster the creation of a collaborative ecosystem to optimize and facilitate strategic Fintech partnerships with corporations, and investors.
Additionally, he will oversee the connection of the entire American community that is part of the Finnovating platform, which includes more than 20.500 organizations in the USA (16,193 startups and 4,321 corporations), such as American companies like Visa, Mastercard, Equifax, and San Francisco unicorns like Incode.

Xiaochen Zhang is a senior executive and influential figure in emerging technologies, with a community of nearly 33,000 followers on social media. He specializes in AI, Cloud Computing, Digital Assets and Digital Finance, Sustainable Development, Innovation, and Impact Investment. Zhang has played a fundamental role in supporting companies and institutions embracing disruption through solutions based on new technologies.
He has over 20 years of experience in financial markets and international development. And he is currently the founder and CEO of FinTech4Good, a global network that collaborates with startups, industry leaders, nonprofits, and investors to harness blockchain, AI, metaverse, and cloud computing for social good. He is also an investor in Gaingels, a leading venture capital network that supports diverse and underrepresented founders in FinTech and artificial intelligence.
Previously he was the Global Head of Innovation & GTM at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he led a technical and operational team in developing and delivering cutting-edge solutions to public sector organizations in areas related to digital assets, central bank digital currency, green finance, and regulatory and supervisory technologies. He has also been a venture partner, mentor, advisor, and speaker for various innovation, incubation, and acceleration programs worldwide.
