Vivid Expands Its Travel Management Tool With In-App Flight Booking for SMEs
Vivid, the European financial platform for SMEs and entrepreneurs, today announced the expansion of its Travel Management Tool with in-app flight bookings, Vivid Flights. Business owners and teams can now organise their entire business trip — including flights, hotels, and coworking spaces — directly within the Vivid app, alongside managing their financial operations.
The Travel Management Tool was first introduced three months ago, offering hotel bookings and coworking reservations through a partnership with Mindspace. With the addition of flight bookings, it becomes a more complete travel solution for business users. Train bookings will follow later this year.
Business travel remains a key part of SME operations
A recent survey by Business Travel News shows that more than half of SMEs plan to increase their travel spending in 2025 compared to the previous year. 25% of respondents expect their travel budgets to grow by over 10%, highlighting the ongoing importance of business trips for client relationships, growth, and operational success.
Managing business travel and finances in one platform
The Travel Management Tool is part of Vivid’s broader platform, which integrates financial services and essential business tools in one place. Users can plan and pay for business trips in the same app they already use to manage company finances, with all expenses automatically connected to bookkeeping — making travel management more transparent and efficient.
Vivid also offers financial benefits on travel: businesses receive up to 30% cashback on hotel bookings, paid out in cash rather than points or rewards. Cashback is credited instantly after booking.
Flights from 300+ airlines can be booked worldwide for individuals or teams — including team members who do not have a Vivid account. After booking a flight, users can immediately add a hotel to complete the trip.
“In a global economy, business travel is essential for building relationships and driving growth. With Vivid, SMEs and entrepreneurs manage their travel where they manage their finances — saving time on admin and improving their bottom line. And with real cashback on hotel bookings, every trip doesn’t just cost money — it helps strengthen liquidity,” said Alexander Emeshev, Co-Founder of Vivid.
Part of a broader integrated platform
The travel services are powered by Duffel, a global flight booking platform, and are available on mobile in all Vivid Business plans*.
The Travel Management Tool is one part of Vivid’s broader approach to SME finance: combining financial services and operational tools in one integrated platform to support businesses manage key aspects of their operations more efficiently. Further integrations, including train bookings, are already planned.
