UBS Welcomes Clients to New Philadelphia Office

To support its growing high net worth and ultra-high net worth client base, UBS is continuing to invest in its wealth management business in the Philadelphia area. Today, the firm announced the opening of its new office at 1735 Market Street, and the hiring of industry veteran David Lojpersberger, who joins the firm’s leadership team in Philadelphia as Market Director.

“There is significant wealth creation among high and ultra-high net worth investors in the Philadelphia area,“ said Julie Fox, Philadelphia D.C. Market Executive at UBS Private Wealth Management. “The investments we’re making in our team and infrastructure underscore our commitment to this important market and will help us continue to meet the growing demand for wealth management services.”

UBS will remain at 1735 Market Street and will relocate to a state-of-the-art facility on the 44th floor. Located steps from City Hall and Logan Square, the office is home to the firm’s Private Wealth Management and Wealth Management teams. With sweeping city views, the full floor space was designed to promote a collaborative environment, featuring an open floor plan, dedicated client entertainment space, and meeting rooms equipped with technology to support both in-person and virtual client engagements.

The space also features a glass mosaic structure mural designed by local Philadelphia-based artist Beth Clevenstine. The pattern of the mosaic symbolizes the water that surrounds the city of Philadelphia.

As part of the senior leadership team in Philadelphia, David’s responsibilities include overseeing business activities, operations and talent management for the firm’s Wealth Management business in Philadelphia, as well as in the nearby Conshohocken and Newtown offices. A 30-year industry veteran, he brings extensive local knowledge, having previously served as Market Leader and Branch Manager at Wells Fargo Advisors in Philadelphia. David reports to Julie Fox, who is responsible for leading the Private Wealth Management and Wealth Management businesses in the Greater Philadelphia area, Washington, D.C. and Charlotte.

“We are pleased to welcome David to UBS,” added Julie. “His vast experience in the wealth management industry and deep familiarity with the Philadelphia market will help us continue to grow in the region, supporting our clients’ and teams’ evolving needs.”

Other recent hires in the Philadelphia area include advisor teams The Stribrny Group, based in the firm’s Conshohocken office, and HLH Group, based in Newtown.
