SEON Expands Executive Team with Veteran Leader from Salesforce, Uber and Intuit; Welcomes New Chief Technology Officer Björn Heckel
SEON, the leading end-to-end fraud prevention and AML platform helping companies mitigate fraud and safeguard against revenue threats, today announced the expansion of its executive leadership with the appointment of Björn Heckel as Chief Technology Officer.
With more than 20 years of experience as a software engineering executive and technical leadership across major tech companies including Salesforce, Uber, Intuit and Ellie Mae, Heckel brings an impressive track record in software development management, large-scale engineering operations and proven strength in building and motivating teams through periods of high growth.

Prior to joining SEON, Heckel was CTO at Taxfix, where they raised a $220 million series D round, focused on simplifying tax filing systems through chat interfaces. Before Taxfix, Heckel worked in Silicon Valley building SaaS platforms and consumer-facing applications in executive leadership roles at Salesforce, Uber and Ellie Mae, respectively.
