Revolut App is Now Available in Ukrainian Language
As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the Ukrainian community, global fintech company Revolut has announced that its app is now available in the Ukrainian language. This move comes two years after Revolut began offering payment services to refugees fleeing Ukraine and the devastating effects of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
The introduction of Ukrainian as a supported language is a significant milestone in Revolut’s efforts to provide a better customer experience for its rapidly growing base of Ukrainian customers throughout Europe. The app interface is now fully accessible in Ukrainian language, improving the customer’s journey for Ukrainian speakers.
Since 2022, over £890m have been transferred to Ukraine using Revolut, with the majority of funds originating from Germany, the UK, Ireland, Poland, and the Netherlands. Today, nearly 700,000 Ukrainians across the UK and EEA rely on Revolut for seamless financial services, with the largest communities based in Poland (27%), Germany (17%), and the UK (6%).
Vlad Yatsenko, Founder & CTO at Revolut said: “Since the start of the invasion, we’ve remained committed to our support for Ukraine. Providing payment services to Ukrainian refugees allowed us to help when it mattered most, and adding Ukrainian as a supported language is a next step in further improving their experience with Revolut. We aim to ensure that Ukrainian customers feel comfortable while using Revolut, no matter where they are in Europe, while continuing to offer the high-quality services they expect.
Revolut currently does not provide services within Ukraine, but we invite Ukrainians to download the Revolut app and join the waiting list to get notified when Revolut’s services become available in Ukraine.”
As many Ukrainians continue to navigate the challenges of displacement, Revolut remains committed to providing support and seamless, user-friendly financial services. Since the outset of the full scale invasion to Ukraine, Revolut helped to raise over £10M for the Red Cross Ukraine appeal, including a £1.5M company’s donation. Revolut has also partnered with various charities in the UK and EEA to help with crisis relief efforts.
