Mortgage Magic™ Launches Integrated Remote KYC to Verify Clients Without the Paperwork

Mortgage Magic™, the cloud-native platform transforming the UK mortgage market, has announced the full integration of Electronic ID Verification (e-ID) into its broker workflow. This upgrade allows advisers to complete Remote KYC (Know Your Customer) checks in minutes via Mortgage Magic – Client app, replacing slow manual document collection with bank-grade security.

With mortgage fraud on the rise and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations becoming stricter, brokers are under immense pressure to verify clients accurately. The traditional method, asking clients to bring passports to an office or email scanned copies is inefficient, creates friction, and is increasingly vulnerable to forgery.

Mortgage Magic™ solves this by embedding e-ID directly into the client onboarding journey. Clients can verify their identity remotely via a secure link on their smartphone, while the system runs instant background checks against global watchlists.
