Money Wellness Announces Partnership with NatWest Group

Money Wellness has announced a new partnership with NatWest Group to support customers showing early signs of financial stress.

Through the partnership, NatWest Group customers, including those banking with RBS and Ulster Bank, who may be struggling with debt, budgeting, or meeting essential household costs, will be offered the chance to complete a free Money Wellness financial health check. The health check will help identify whether customers could benefit from free debt advice, help to maximise their income, or support managing their household budget.

NatWest Group colleagues will discuss the service directly with customers facing financial challenges and customers can choose to be transferred to a Money Wellness adviser, book an appointment for a call or be sent a link to a secure online journey to get started.

As part of the partnership, Money Wellness and NatWest Group will be collaborating to support colleagues to better identify signs of financially vulnerable customers may display.

Sebrina McCullough, director of external relations at Money Wellness, said: “We know that millions of households are struggling to make ends meet. It’s never been more important for businesses to step in early and connect customers to free, trusted help before things spiral out of control. “We’re proud to be partnering with NatWest Group to offer timely, practical support to those who need it most. Together, we can help more people find a way through financial difficulty and build a path to a more secure future.”

Neil Taylor, Product Owner at NatWest, said: “We’re excited to be working with Money Wellness, providing vital support to customers navigating financial difficulties. Together, we’re committed to helping our customers find the right solutions and guidance they need during challenging times.

Commissioned by the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), Money Wellness is one of the UK’s leading financial wellness providers, offering free, independent, and confidential debt advice. More than one million people have already turned to Money Wellness for help with their money worries.
