Liberis to Extend Small Business Financing to 10 European Countries Through myPOS Partnership
Liberis, the leading global embedded finance platform, announced a partnership today with myPOS, award-winning fintech platform and payment service provider to European SMEs. This partnership will enable myPOS to offer revenue-based financing in 10 European countries starting with the UK, providing small businesses with the money they need to fund new projects, address business challenges, and expand at their own pace.
myPOS and Liberis’ partnership will provide revenue-based financing initially to merchants in the UK, and then expand across countries, including Germany, Ireland, Iceland and Finland. This partnership will provide much-needed financing across Europe, at a time when it needs it most.
SMEs employ 2 out of 3 people[1] and provide 85% of new jobs in Europe[2], with 99% of companies falling into this category[3]. According to the EIF’s latest working paper[4], SMEs rely disproportionately on bank-based debt instruments, despite one in four reporting difficulty accessing finance.
Rob Straathof, CEO at Liberis said “At Liberis, we understand that small businesses are tight for time and money. This partnership empowers myPOS to create an even more comprehensive one-stop shop for SMEs by including revenue-based financing to help them grow their business, fuelled by Liberis’ technology.”
Mario Shiliashki, CEO at myPOS, added “Our mission at myPOS is to help businesses grow. Our payments platform provides a large number of payment methods to boost checkout conversion and we offer our merchants with instant access to their funds as soon as a purchase is completed. Now, with Liberis, we will take this one step further by providing borrowing options to merchants, thus helping them further boost growth with the capital they need to succeed.”
