Guavapay Joins Stop Scams UK

Guavapay Stop Scams UK marks a new cross-sector collaboration to fight fraud. Through its MyGuava platform, a universal financial app that provides secure, fee-free international transfers and personalised financial tools, the global fintech has partnered with Stop Scams UK to enhance anti-fraud protections.

Guavapay’s products MyGuava (B2C) and MyGuava Business (B2B) deliver streamlined, cost-effective payment solutions. The MyGuava App is a universal financial tool that empowers individuals with multi-currency accounts, fee-free international transfers, personalized virtual cards, and real-time analytics.

James Borley, Chief Compliance Officer and MLRO of Guavapay said: “Fraud is an increasing blight on the UK economy and the wellbeing – both financial and non-financial – of any of us as consumers of financial services products. Guavapay is honoured and excited to join Stop Scams. Our customers put their trust in us, and we have a duty to do all we can to keep them safe from exploitation. We hope that by joining forces with Stop Scams and its wider membership, we can play our part in helping to educate consumers to help protect themselves but also identify and prevent scams at their root.”

Mark Tierney CEO of Stop Scams UK added: “We are delighted to welcome Guavapay as one of our members, further broadening our membership in the payments space, and adding real value to our collaborative ecosystem. This recent growth in new members is a vote of confidence in our work and highlights the mounting support for cross-industry collaboration in the fight against fraud.”

With the Guavapay Stop Scams UK partnership, both companies aim to empower consumers and disrupt fraud networks through proactive collaboration and fintech innovation.
