Fin Capital Appoints Nicholas Cirella as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Fin Capital, a global asset manager specializing in B2B FinTech, announced today that Nicholas Cirella has been named General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, effective immediately. In his new role, Mr. Cirella will be responsible for overseeing legal and compliance matters, further bolstering Fin Capital’s commitment to institutionalizing its platform and focusing on compliance and operational excellence as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). Mr. Cirella’s appointment marks a significant milestone as the firm’s inaugural General Counsel.

Founder and Managing Partner of Fin Capital, Logan Allin, expressed his enthusiasm for Nick’s appointment, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome Nick to our team. As full lifecycle asset managers, Fin Capital will benefit from Nick’s extensive legal expertise and understanding of the asset management ecosystem. His contributions will be instrumental in steering our firm’s growth during this exciting next phase.”

Mr. Cirella said, “I am honored by the opportunity to join Fin Capital and am excited to work alongside such a highly respected and motivated team. I believe in what the firm has built since its founding and look forward to helping build the future of Fin Capital.”

Mr. Cirella brings a wealth of experience to Fin Capital, having served in a number of legal and compliance roles at financial institutions including Steadview Capital, Temasek, and Farallon Capital Management. Prior to moving in house, he also worked as a corporate attorney at the law firms of Willkie, Farr, & Gallagher and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Mr. Cirella has extensive experience with a wide variety of transactions, including venture capital, private equity, and capital markets deals in both the US and abroad. His deep expertise in the financial industry and his academic background in data science make him a valuable addition to the Fin Capital team.
