Coinbase Launches Savings Account in the UK

Starting today, select eligible Coinbase UK users can access a new savings account in the UK. At full launch, the Coinbase Savings Account (powered by ClearBank) will allow all eligible UK Coinbase users to earn 3.75%* AER interest (variable), paid daily, on GBP savings balances. The account provides instant deposits, withdrawals and no minimum balance or lockup. Eligible deposits are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) for balances up to £85,000 across all accounts with ClearBank. Coinbase is the first crypto-native exchange to offer an account of this kind in the UK.
