Bitstamps Miha Vidmar Discusses The Necessity Of Education in Crypto
Miha Vidmar, Chief Product Officer at Bitstamp, sits down for a virtual conversation with FF News’ Douglas Mackenzie. In this video, Miha talks to us about the need for educational options in the cryptocurrency industry and how that need has become critical in recent years.
“[Education in crypto] is super important. I also think everybody is sort of tackling it in their own way, but I think its super important. Especially since crypto is sort of a disruptive industry and usually when there’s a disruptive industry, there’s a threat like traditional players.”
“So just battling misinformation is probably a full-time job for a bunch of people. I think it needs constant education. The space moves so fast, so just keeping pace with it requires a lot of work and especially with new people joining the market, it needs to be made safe for them. It should definitely be in schools. The topics are a bit tricky, but I think we lack overall financial education in schools.”
