Airwallex Appoints Stacey Zolt Hara to Lead Corporate Affairs in the Americas and EMEA
Airwallex, a global payments and financial platform, announced today the appointment of Stacey Zolt Hara as its Head of Corporate Affairs, Americas and EMEA.
With over 20 years of experience as a communications and public affairs strategist, Stacey will be responsible for leading Airwallex’s integrated communications strategy and implementation in the Americas and EMEA.
Commenting on the appointment, Ravi Adusumilli, General Manager, Americas said, “I am excited to welcome Stacey. Her first-hand experience in accelerating and protecting corporate reputation for fast-growth global technology businesses in public affairs and communications will be integral to guide how we shape our narrative. With her joining the team, we hope to creatively and strategically showcase our value proposition and how we differentiate Airwallex in the U.S. and across the Americas.
Pranav Sood, General Manager, EMEA added, “Stacey has extensive experience in the innovation and technology sector, which is a great asset for us to reinforce Airwallex’s position as a global fintech leader. Her expertise and successful track record of crafting global communication strategies for some of the world’s leading businesses will be invaluable as we further develop our global presence, and as we continue to accelerate our growth and expansion across EMEA.”
Stacey brings a strong track record and global perspective that will support Airwallex’s continued growth. Prior to Airwallex, Stacey was SVP and Head of Global Corporate Communications at Udemy, a software as a service (SaaS) and consumer marketplace learning company. She previously served in a series of ascending leadership roles at Visa, Edelman and Ogilvy Public Relations. Stacey began her career as a journalist covering the United States Congress, and, later, a political strategist for several U.S. elected officials and candidates at the local, state and national levels.
“I’m thrilled to join Airwallex at this critical growth stage,” Zolt Hara said. “Airwallex sits at the apex of financial empowerment for digital-first global businesses. From day one, CEO Jack Zhang and the founding team envisioned a network and platform infrastructure to transcend borders that often impede businesses’ growth. As the company continues to refine its offer and partner across the ecosystem, I look forward to building our story of impact and engagement in the Americas and EMEA.”
