EWise names James Redfern global head of sales

eWise today announced that James Redfern has been named as Global Head of Sales and will lead the eWise sales teams in Europe, Asia and Australia.

eWise is strengthening its management team with two key executive announcements.
James Redfern joins eWise as Global Head of Sales. Prior to eWise, James spent 12 years at Temenos in a variety of Management roles including VP Business Development and VP Customer Management. He also was Head of Global Sales for Sungard Retail Banking.

Alex Grinberg, founder of eWise, starts a new role as Head of Business Development. Alex will focus on medium-longer term growth strategies including new market development and partner enablement.

“James brings with him tremendous experience in driving growth and managing large global sales teams and I am very confident that James will facilitate further growth at eWise.” said David Hamilton, President and CEO of eWise. “Alex has been at the centre of our expansion efforts since founding the company in 2000. In his new role, Alex will continue to help the company open new markets and establish new growth channels for the business.”

David Hamilton joined the company as President and CEO of eWise in 2014. Since this time, the company expanded its global footprint and has grown significantly across Europe, Asia and Australia. Prior to joining eWise, David held senior executive positions at FinTech 100 providers Fiserv and SunGard.
