Durlston Partners Appoints Joshwa Shah as Head of Business Development

Durlston Partners‘ new Head of Business Development will be responsible for growing and strengthening the firm’s roster of UK-based and international clients to support its efforts to accelerate international expansion. Joshwa’s appointment follows the recent appointments of Meraj Bahram and Shannon Palmer as Managing Partner and Head of Business Strategy and Operations, respectively.

Joshwa is a talent advisor and placement professional with a wealth of experience working with candidates and organizations in the digital assets and FinTech sectors. Joshwa has worked at Durlston as a Consultant and Senior Recruiter since 2021, where he has helped some of the world’s most successful hedge funds and cryptocurrency companies grow and develop their teams. He also established and led, in partnership with the Department of Computing at Imperial College London, the firm’s workshop program to provide career guidance and interview training for the university’s computer science students. Prior to this, Joshwa was a recruiter at technology and digital recruitment firm Winter Circle, and a compliance analyst at accounting firm Grant Thornton UK.

Joshwa Shah, Head of Business Development at Durlston Partners, said: “After two years working to help our clients grow and develop their teams, I’m thrilled to be taking on such an important role in driving our firm’s growth both in the UK and abroad. I look forward to continuing to strengthen our impressive roster of clients and to make Durlston the leader in our sector globally.”

Meraj Bahram, Managing Partner at Durlston Partners, said: “Joshwa’s well-deserved appointment is a testament to his remarkable contributions since joining in 2021. He has not only delivered excellent talent advisory and placement services, but he has also been instrumental in our efforts to grow our client portfolio and build our pipeline of partnerships with educational institutions to ensure that we can help graduates and young professionals kickstart their careers. I’m confident that Joshwa’s experience and expertise will be key in supporting Durlston in this new stage of growth.”
