de Novo Solutions Joins Welsh Financial Technology Community, FinTech Wales

de Novo Solutions, a pioneering tech company that strives to ‘re-imagine the world of work’ using ServiceNow and Oracle SaaS Cloud technology, has become one of FinTech Wales latest members, joining a community that is dedicated to driving innovation and growth in the Welsh FinTech sector.

Established in 2019, FinTech Wales is the not-for-profit independent membership organisation that champions the Financial Services and Tech industries in Wales. FinTech Wales is on a mission to create a fully inclusive and supportive ecosystem that enables FinTechs headquartered or operating in Wales to flourish and succeed thanks to the availability of the best talent, skills and investment, enabling WalesFinTech ecosystem to make a tangible impact on the global and local stage.

In partnering with FinTech Wales, de Novo Solutions joins a growing multitude of other innovative Welsh businesses from within the tech and financial sectors, who are focused on driving growth and supporting the organisation’s economic agenda. Having already scaled growth by 450% and achieved an impressive 7-figure turnover by the close of its second year in business, this partnership will provide a valuable opportunity for de Novo to connect with businesses in the FinTech Wales community and share their knowledge and expertise with those looking to grow and expand their technology offerings.

By collaborating with FinTech Wales, de Novo will help support the growth of the FinTech industry in Wales through the nurturing and development of raw talent, as well as expanding its own network of clients and partners in the process.

Sarah Williams-Gardener, CEO of FinTech Wales, said on the announcement: “We’re delighted to have de Novo Solutions on board with us as members and look forward to supporting them to deepen their connections in Wales as they continue to scale their business here. de Novo share our passion for developing local talent within the Welsh FinTech ecosystem, and we’re thrilled to see them already involved and actively contributing to our skills academies. Working with partners such as de Novo to raise awareness of the FinTech industry as an exciting and viable career option is essential to attract more diverse talent into our academies and the sector.”

Mark Sweeny, co-founder and Chief Executive of de Novo Solutions, confirmed: “As a fast-growing business headquartered in Langstone, South Wales we’re proud to have joined forces with FinTech Wales. Being a member is not only an excellent way to show our support to the Welsh business community and to strengthen our local connections, but to also reinforce our commitment to developing tech talent of the future like working with the University of South Wales and participating in their Degree Apprenticeship Programme is an excellent way for us to develop the tech talent of the future. Not only does it support our own business growth, but by investing in the development of upcoming raw talent, we’re helping to play our part in shaping the future of FinTech in Wales.”
