Web3Veterans Unveils Support Network to Unlock Web3 Career Paths for Former Armed Forces Members
Web3Veterans, a pioneering initiative designed to help military veterans transition into meaningful careers in blockchain, crypto and Web3, officially launched at Zebu Live 2025 in London today. The programme fast-tracks entry into one of the fastest growing areas of technology through training, mentoring, community support and direct industry connections.
Built by veterans and industry practitioners, Web3Veterans bridges the gap between service and civilian life by translating military skills into high value roles across decentralised industries. Reliability, integrity, discipline, leadership, resilience, teamwork and security awareness are recognised strengths from service. Combined with qualifications gained in the forces, these attributes make veterans well suited to roles in compliance, risk management, operations, leadership and other functions critical to the growth of the Web3 sector.
“The launch of Web3Veterans at Zebu Live brings innovation and community together,” said Mark Horsham, Founder of Web3Veterans. “Veterans have invaluable skills that align with the needs of the Web3 sector. This initiative ensures they have the opportunity to thrive in a new mission driven environment.”
The programme provides accessible learning pathways from blockchain fundamentals to applied AI, structured mentorship with experienced Web3 professionals, and a community platform of workshops, events and peer support. Placement support is delivered through partnerships with Web3 organisations so veterans can move from training to employment with confidence. Web3Veterans is committed to the principles of the UK Armed Forces Covenant, ensuring no member of the armed forces faces disadvantage when moving into the workforce.
“At Zebu Live we celebrate projects that strengthen the Web3 community, and Web3Veterans does exactly that,” said Harry Horsfall, Co-Founder of Zebu Live. “We are proud to support this initiative as a community partner and to champion the contribution veterans can make to our industry.”
For organisations, engaging with Web3Veterans is both a talent strategy and a statement of social responsibility. Employers gain access to highly capable individuals with proven leadership
