OKX Enables Users to Purchase Crypto with Apple Pay in the EEA and the United States
OKX Apple Pay integration is now available, enabling customers in the EEA and United States to buy crypto directly via iPhone. This Apple Pay crypto solution offers a secure, fast, and intuitive payment experience within both the OKX app and website.
This announcement underscores OKX’s commitment towards providing intuitive and secure payment methods that match evolving user expectations.
“Apple Pay eliminates friction from the crypto buying process,” said Erald Ghoos, CEO of OKX Europe. “It’s one of the world’s most trusted and widely used ways to pay. By offering it on OKX’s website and app, we’re giving customers a familiar, secure way to buy crypto and making their experience smoother than ever.”
Users can use Apple Pay to make faster and more convenient purchases in apps or on the web without having to create accounts or repeatedly type in contact information, card details, or shipping and billing information.
Security and privacy are at the core of Apple Pay. When customers add a credit or debit card to Apple Pay, the actual card numbers are not stored on the device, nor on Apple servers. Instead, a unique Device Account Number is assigned, encrypted and securely stored in the Secure Element, an industry-standard, certified chip designed to store the payment information safely on the device.
With OKX Apple Pay, users in the US and EEA can now enjoy seamless crypto purchases—reinforcing OKX’s focus on privacy, speed, and customer-first payments.
