James Bowater joins Smarter Contracts as Strategic Advisor

Smarter Contracts, the builders of the blockchain-based permissions management protocol, Pulse®, is proud to announce that James Bowater, Founder and Chief Executive of The Digital Insider, has joined their increasingly impressive team as the latest Strategic Advisor.

Bowater is best known in the blockchain, digital asset, and Web3 industry as ‘The Digital Insider’ and for being the Founder of Crypto AM in a groundbreaking partnership with London’s renowned business newspaper, City A.M. In 2017, it became the first mainstream publisher to feature a regular focus on AI, blockchain, crypto assets, DeFi, digital assets, the metaverse, tokenization, and Web3.

At the beginning of 2024, Bowater launched his newest venture—a community-centric hybrid news, media, education, events, and venture capital platform named ‘The Digital Commonwealth’. It will focus on everything Crypto AM covered, as well as Fintech, frontier technologies, GameFi, and real-world assets. Bowater is also the Founder and Chairman of Jade Vault, Jade City, and the Co-Founder of Moonblast.

Bowater holds notable ambassadorial and advisory roles. He is currently serving as the Global Ambassador for World Mobile, Ambassador for CUDOS, VIP Ambassador for Paris Blockchain Week, one of the most popular events in the global digital asset calendar. He is also the Peace Ambassador for the Universal Peace Sanctuary.
