Connective Payments breidt uit met Niek Röselaers als Associate Partner Compliance|Risk|RegTech
Connective Payments is expanding with the addition of Niek Röselaers to the team as Associate Partner
Niek Röselaers joins Connective Payments in the role of Associate Partner Compliance, Risk & RegTech.
After starting out in the payments industry as process manager within Payment Services Provider Mollie, Niek Röselaers quickly moved up to Head of Risk & Compliance. In accordance with a fully automated onboarding process of high numbers of merchants, several Risk & Compliance controls needed to be implemented in both the organizational processes and systems. This required introducing CDD, AML, SIRA, ERM, transaction monitoring, credit risk and a fraud management framework. In addition, Niek was involved in advising first line Compliance and introducing new products.
As an interim Risk & Compliance Officer Niek plays a key role in digitalising the merchant onboarding process for First Data’s and ABN AMRO’s joint venture European Merchant Services. Furthermore, Niek is one of the founders behind KYC Quest, an online solution to tackle Compliancy issues, such as Customer Due Diligence, transaction monitoring and auditing. Connective Payments has partnered up with KYC Quest.
Niek is a Certified Compliance Offer, CAMS certified, and a board member of the Dutch branch of ACAMS, the Association of Certified Anti-Money laundering Specialists.
Nieks competencies fit in beautifully with Connective Payment’s focus on digitalising customer journeys for the payments, banking and FinTech industries.
