Communisis brings genuine omnichannel communications with new partnership

Communisis, the integrated business communications provider that powers brand engagement, has moved to enhance the omnichannel communication services it provides to clients through a new partnership with Ricoh, the digital services company.

Building on the back of an existing 12-year relationship, Communisis will implement Ricoh’s Process Director (RPD), a modular and flexible workflow and process management platform, to assist clients in offering their customers a seamless, flexible and efficient omnichannel experience.

With Communisis’ new capabilities, clients will be able to effortlessly blend both digital and physical customer communications at pace.

The new platform enables clients ability to rationalise lakes of customer data using automation and AI, ensuring that client communications are always sent on time, to the correct individual and through the most appropriate communication channel. It adds flexibility to processes, increasing efficiencies and reducing lead in times significantly.

Cara Walker, Executive Director of Digital Solutions at Communisis, said: “We are delighted to be able to take our clients’ omnichannel capabilities to the next level and enhance their brand engagement.

The pace of our ever-evolving digital transformation has helped us enhance the service we provide, not only to our clients but to their customers. This is just one example of the investment Communisis is making in our products and services to ensure we are always improving the customer experience and making lives better.”

The increased efficiency that RPD brings to users will help drive wider responsible business objectives such as tackling climate change through better use of raw materials and energy. It also provides Communisis with the highest levels of data security, a necessary feature when operating within highly regulated markets, where compliance with data security standards such as PCI and Cyber Essential Plus are an entry requirement.

Simon Isaacs, National Sales Director at Ricoh, said: “This multi-year investment in RPD will give Communisis greater flexibility, cost efficiency, and total output integrity.

“We’ve been partnering with Communisis for 12 years now, and we know it is a business that never stands still. We’re delighted it has chosen RPD as the tool that will help it to advance its omnichannel capabilities and transform its clients’ output. As a modular system, RPD is also a future-proofed investment that can continue to grow with Communisis.”
