Christopher McCavitt Joins Exiger Global Investigations Practice as Managing Director
Exiger is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher McCavitt as Managing Director in the firm’s Global Investigations Practice.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the investigations industry, Mr. McCavitt has led some of the most serious and complex engagements in the business. His deep and broad expertise includes investigations of all varieties, including complex fraud, asset recovery, intellectual property infringement, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, litigation support, business intelligence, and due diligence.
Mr. McCavitt joins Exiger from Kroll, where he was a Managing Director in the firm’s Investigations and Disputes practice. In addition to supervising a range of complex investigative matters for Kroll across the globe, Mr. McCavitt also served as Director of Research for the North American region, responsible for overseeing the firm’s research and analysis capabilities. He also led company-wide innovation initiatives related to business intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, and insurance.

In addition to his tenure at Kroll, Mr. McCavitt served as a Senior Director at FTI Consulting, where he was central to the firm’s complex fraud investigations. He has also held senior investigations roles with Alpha Group International, a firm he co-founded in 2000, and The Ackerman Group.
