Chartis Recognizes Wolters Kluwer Financial Services as Category Leader for Enterprise Stress Testing Systems

The Chartis report evaluates vendors on two key factors—completeness of offering and market potential. According to Chartis, category leaders featured in the report, such as Wolters Kluwer Financial Services and its comprehensive governance, finance, risk and compliance (GFRC) platform, OneSumX®, demonstrate a clear strategy for sustainable, profitable growth matched with best-in-class solutions. These are  according to Chartis.

“Stress testing and scenario modeling is one of the most important functions of any financial institution that wants to survive market shocks and increased regulatory scrutiny,” said Peyman Mestchian, managing partner at Chartis. “An effective stress testing strategy requires the implementation of an enterprise stress testing platform that aligns with existing risk management systems, regulatory requirements, organizational structures and visualization components.”

“Wolters Kluwer Financial Services is delighted to be recognized as a leader in enterprise stress testing by Chartis,” said Nancy Masschelein, vice president, market management, Risk & Finance, EMEA, at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services. “Our strong position in this area, as evidenced by this new report, highlights our continued commitment to meeting the evolving industry and regulatory requirements for robust stress testing – an increasingly important area for financial services firms.”

At the end of 2014, Wolters Kluwer Financial Services earned the No. 4 position in Chartis’ RiskTech100® for the second year in a row. In the same report, the company was recognized as a Category Leader in Regulatory Reporting, marking four years running that it has won that accolade. The company was also recently named a Category Leader for the financial services industry in the RiskTech Quadrant® on Operational Risk Management Systems for Financial Services (for the third year in a row) and as a Category Leader in the RiskTech Quadrant® on Enterprise GRC Solutions (also for the third consecutive year).
