Center for Financial Professionals announces new FinTech Research and Advisory Board
The Center for Financial Professionals (CeFPro), a leading international research organization for the finance industry, has announced the launch of the FinTech 250 research program. Furthermore, CeFPro has announced the formation of its FinTech Advisory Board, a group of over sixty industry experts, to provide independent insight and rigor in evaluating key market trends and ranking FinTech companies.
FinTech Advisory Board member Lindsey Burik, Head of Electronic Trading, Mizuho Securities said, “One of the biggest challenges in the FinTech space as a consumer is sorting through what is available, how it is used, and ultimately answering ‘how will this help me?’ I think this research will bring some straightforward clarity and expertise the industry needs”.
Marcela Londoño, Vice President – Corporate Cash Management – FinTech – Client Intelligence Unit, Deutsche Bank commented “It will be very interesting to explore how FinTech innovation has continued to diversify beyond traditional verticals and areas – in particular, the role of AI, machine learning and robotic process automation in financial services”.
“FinTech is continuing to dramatically change the financial services industry, so I’m really excited to be supporting CeFPro,” said Advisory Board member Allan Reid, Head of Financial Crime Risk, Sainsbury’s Bank. “There are numerous ranking reports on FinTech Companies within the industry but I’ve yet to come across any which are based on robust metrics or are assessed by non-independent writers. This can only be a positive move for the industry in having visibility of our outputs allowing them to make fully-informed decisions.”
Andreas Simou, Director – Global FinTech Research, CeFPro said, “Our organization is led by industry research and many of our conferences now reflect the importance of new technological advancements and the collaboration of FinTech companies and banks. We hope the industry continues to get involved in our research and joins us in Las Vegas for the X-Tech 2019 Convention to discuss and debate the key findings as well as the FinTech 250 rankings”.
The full FinTech Advisory Board can be viewed online on CeFPro’s Global FinTech Research website and also contains information on how to take part in the survey, which is set to close in January. All those who take part will receive a complimentary copy of the full FinTech 250 report. The final report is expected to be published in April, in conjunction with CeFPro’s X-Tech 2019: Financial Services and Technology Convention, taking place in Las Vegas.
